We created a Protest Song that starts from within each individual and pushes through the frustration, confusion, and oppression women experience. This is a woman's voice speaking to herself and to those around her.
During this time of increased miscommunication, re-casting of truth, and fake news,
I am constructing a performance piece that explores perceived and oscillating realities, hoping to break through our own walls of communication. The piece will incorporate symbols, sounds, Till Eulenspiegel pranks, and stories of owls. The audience will experience a transformation of sound and image that reflects my artistic attempt to hold tension and explore our various attempts to reveal the truth.
